They're milking Bisping and the UK before Jacare ragdolls him. That's smart business, not the most legit way to run a sport per say but it's smart $$$

Glad Brock won, hardcore MMA heads of course will do all kinds of mental gymnastics to avoid giving the dude some credit. The loss didn't hurt Hunt IMO

I honestly think the fix was in on Hunt vs Lesnar

The powers that be had to protect Brock. You can't let an active WWE superstar lose in a two minute walk off knockout from Hunt a month before summerslam.

I think the fight was fixed. Hunt wasn't allowed to knock Brock out. He wasn't obligated to take one on the chin from Lesnar either so they just stayed on the ground the whole fight.

Hunt probably got paid enough to lose that now his kids college education is paid for. There was no way WWE would let one of their most prolific money makers get injured or look bad - something was off about the fight but keeping everything in mind it starts to make sense

:mjlol:

WWE didn't want Brock to fight at all, he forced their hand pretty much. If you think Dana and Vince workied out some fixed outcome... Dana would tell WWE and the Brock return to kick rocks if that was proposed. Their brand is already under enough turmoil atm, they don't want no fixed outcome accusations. Brock executed a perfect gameplan that included keeping Hunt off his feet so they can't exchange huge blows that Hunt would undoubtedly come out on the better end of.

The politics behind Bisping and Hendo are pretty clear :manny:

He dropped bombs on the side of Hunt's head towards the end of that fight.

They were in a. Very tough position because they couldn't legitimately give another 205er a shot at the title on 2 days notice there's too much to go wrong. Anyone who really deserves a shot was either in camp preparing for someone else in an upcoming fight or out of camp and out of shape. Can't give him to a top contender in any other weight division in case DC loses because anything can happen on 2 days notice. Silva had something to prove and I think he did I with this fight, he held in there and did well against a dangerous 205er who probably had a good10-20 pounds on him on fight night.
Silva did a great job...
Proved everything he needed to
Would have won with five rounds and a even weight match.
I think DC was feeling a that and didn't feel too great about the win

Front row brian(chatty party mma guy) said Hunt was going into the fight injured. That may be a reason. His movement and closing the distance was not there
