Rigo has just 15 professional fights and although he's got an amazing skill set he doesn't exhibit the pure dominance that we're seeing out of GGG. He may not merit being over Kovalev at this point but my list is made with the future in mind. You could say it's a bit ahead of it's time (hence Pacquiao being below Wladimir)

that's fine the fact you have Roman on there in his watered down division means auto-loss.
One could say Wladimir Klitschko is in a watered down division . . we still don't deny his reign

I think most people deny his reign...the fact is no one has cared about the HW division since Lennox left. Without Klitschko imagine who the champs would be, a bunch of scrubs...he's actually pretty good and I would have loved to have seen him with actual comp. However, football and basketball have replaced boxing in certain communities and that's why America has not had any legit HW star since Holyfield.

1. Mayweather
2. Pacquiao
3. Rigondeaux
4. Wlad
5. Kovalev
6. Canelo
7. Gonzalez
8. Golovkin
9. Bradley
10. Marquez

of course ward SHOULD be on there but with how long he's been out he just don't deserve to be on any pound for pound list. this list is for guys who are actually puttin in work. and I can't see how canelo can't be on the list. I feel trout and lara are more than enough to get him on. not to mention demolishing angulo and what he's bout to do to kirkland. ever since losing to floyd, he been on a tear.

i like when peole make lists are challenged and can actually give insightful analysis about his/her picks.

1. Mayweather
2. Golovkin (needs to fight more talent, but his activity is great and has finished everyone in his last few fights - the fact he's looked unstoppable, and combines skill and power makes me think he's the whole package)
3. Pacman
4. Kovalev - he killed man, beat Hopkins easily and Jean Pascal
5. Marquez - despite probably being on last legs - beat the #3 guy

Ward would be in there if not due to inactivity -

10, 15, or 20 only.......

Floyd
Wlad
Manny
Kovalev
GGG
Rigo
Roman
Canelo
Broner
you have only 9....

I thought about making this thread. Honestly, though, top 10 is too hard for me; top 5 is way easier.

1) Floyd Mayweather jr (lots of talents out there to supplant him in a year or 2, though, even if he decides not to retire)
2) Manny Pacquiao (It's hard for me to put him there, but lets be real, he's the favorite to beat any welterweight, outside of Floyd)
3) GGG (Hasn't fought anyone though)
4) Guillermo Rigondeaux
5) Sergei Kovalev

Leaving Andre Ward off because of how long it has been since he's last fought.
10, 15, or 20 only......
