It's time to have a comic book confession. Cyclops surpassed Wolverine a long time ago.

Cyclops was that dude until editorial mandate forced the writers to have him leave his wife and kid and found x-factor. (Circa1986) He got his shine back after the Grant Morrison and Joss Whedon stories though (since 2001 or so)

He gets a lot of flak for being stuffy, but I wouldn't be :steviej: either if I had to live every day knowing that I could kill anyone just by literally looking at them the wrong way. Plus, you need a character like him to keep everyone on task. Everyone on the team can't like Wolverine or Gambit. They'd get everybody killed, lol

Edit: wolverine works a lot better as a side character who occasionally gets the spotlight every once in awhile. They demystified him by revealing every detail of his life, shoehorning him into every superteam in comics, and treating him like the center of the universe in the movies and cartoons. Not to mention upping his regenerative powers to Piccolo levels. :snoop:

i actually kind of liked it when wolverine got his memories back. 40 something years of stories of this dude searching for his memories was bound to get played out sooner or then later. their fukk up was putting his face every where. marvel has the tendency to over expose their more popular characters.
