:dwillhuh: I got a fat ps3 that's 60gb CECHA, but it's 4.25. Wanna downgrade, but don't know (or wanna try) all the opening of the PS3 & soldering shyt. Anyone know where I can get it serviced?

So everything is working all good for you? Any important details the brehthren should know? Where should I go for the download links and instructions?

Explain bruh. Don't just say stuff and then bounce.

I have followed instructions from here
Rogero CEX-4.21 CFW v1.00 Free for All - PSX-Scene

Had KMEAW 3.55 with spoof on, uninstalled spoof, dumped nor and installed qflag like in instructions, then I went to recovery mode, installed cfw and voila :mj:

but I hear that some slim users have bricks, so if you have a slim ps3 maybe you should wait for updated cfw if you dont have hardware flasher

its pretty stable now and from what I hear brick free, I am now on 4.30 rogero and feasting :win:

all info is in link below:
PS3 4.21/4.30/4.xx CFW User Guide – Read Before Attempting Anything And Bookmark | PS3Hax Network

To much info for me to digest b, explain in layman terms the process... I have a slim PS3 custom firmware 3.55 with KMEAW.

Now do I install 4.30 Rogero as I did the KMEAW3.55 via USB or do I update the PS3 before installing.
Also I'm reading Multiman isn't compatible with this new custom firmware?

You need to goto ofw 3.55 then flash the 4.25 CFW if you dont want any problems

It shouldn't be a problem for both of you if you boot your PS3 into Recovery Mode, then install Rogero CFW 3.55 (v3.7) first.

Then after you're on Rogero 3.55 (v3.7) you can install Toggle QA (Install Package option), and then Run it from the XMB Game Column (not to be confused with the Install Package you just did). The PS3 will black-screen for a few moments and it will make 2 / 3 beeps, then it will send you back to XMB.

Note: Remember not to have any USB device connected to the PS3 while doing this.

After that try the QA key combo while hovering "Network Settings" item in the XMB Settings menu.

Then you can re-boot again in Recovery Mode, and install Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0 / patched) AFTER reading the tips I posted very carefully, check all the MD5 hashes before installing anything.

SeeYa!

if you have 3.55 kmeaw and your console wasnt downgraded before like me, then you can skip all this dehashing etc (oh to be on the extra safe side you should install qflag and thats it) and go straight to recovery mode and installing 4.30 rogero from usb.

brehs rembember to install cfw without any disk inside your ps3!

and there is new mulitman compatible with new cfw - 04.09.00 , download it here: multiMAN 04.09.00 - PSX-Scene
