A book also has to be adapted for television, which was done in immaculate fashion and isn't an easy process especially not with a writer as descriptive and verbose as George RR Martin.
I never said it was the best show ever. I said its story is as good as either of them. All I remember was Varys told Robert that she was pregnant and Robert told him to poison her.
