not sure what emotion that smile is supposed to convey?

Why is Dany all cool with Varys now after he tried to poison her earlier?
How are the Dorthraki just sea fairing with no problem now?
And Arya's whole arc since the end if A Dnce of Dragons, really?! Now she's a certified killer, with incredible healing power, a teleporter and master baker. lol
I mean I do enjoy all the action no question but it really isn't even consistent with earlier seasons much less the books which I also read.
NeggedIt's a B-level show, chum.
Varys was following orders of the king. He was also the reason Dany and her brother were sheltered in Pentos, that was his boy. The same guy he went to when he fled with Tyrion.
How do you know how the Dothraki are firing at sea? There was literally one scene with them on the sees this season. After season 2, it showed them getting sea sick, likely the new Dothraki will face the same trials, but this time there are experienced Dothraki to help them through it.
Arya trained to be a master killer at the house of Black and White. She went to Bravos to learn how to change her fukking face, and you're whining cuz they didn't show her learning how to work an oven?
yeah that shyt was truly amazing. I hope the bounce back in Season 3, S2 was lacklusterYea but nothing will surpass True Detective Season 1 as the greatest season of any show ever.
That shyt was art.
agreed, and there are still SEASONS of game of thrones leftDexter lost its way SEASONS before it ended.
You're right. Sopranos ain't shyt IMO. shyt's like the Friends of organized crime. Corny ass seriesI think it's only rated highly because it's the white "The Wire"
I appreciate you sticking up for it being top tier but still being able to acknowledge the faults. Out of those other shows mentioned I think BB is the weakest and GoT is very close to. You're right BB has less memorable characters and moments. I give it props over it only for being more consistently entertaining there were less weak eps and Cranston was beasting all over the place. There are things to criticize about GOT there is no doubt about that. Seasons 5 and 6 in particular had MOMENTS of weak tv. I emphasize the word MOMENTS because thats all they were. Dorne in particular. Arya's storyline sputtering in Braavos. Sansa taking a step back in development for no reason in S5 other than to waste time. But even with these bad moments, the seasons as a whole still were mostly amazing.
Not a single one of the other shows mentioned in this thread has a cast of characters as good as GOT. I dare anyone to tell me that the GOT characters aren't the greatest of all time already. Seriously, its not even close to be honest and only The Wire can compete
The weakest part of GOT has been the writing when they strayed too far from George RR Martin's intricate plotting. But on average, the writing is still good at worst and amazing at best. But I'm going to laugh in anyone's face who tells me that these other GOAT level shows didn't also have moments of shytty writing. If you want me to go back and watch Breaking Bad and break down episode by episode all the shytty moments, I will. The only reason certain people are so vocal about GOT's weak moments is because they are butthurt for what they perceive to be alterations to the "real" story. Many of these critiques are legitimate, but the frequency and ferocity that they are spewed is overkill.
Let's not even get into the costuming, set design, scope, epicness, etc. GOT stand on its own at the top of the totem pole in those regards.
