I think issue is he doesn't look like a threat, but at least they reacted to his high impact moves. Unsure if he got the mic skills to help him out, but I think there needs to be more to his character if they want to sell him on main roster

Johnny Wrestling had good matches, but they’re not getting him over as a character. I seen some of his work in NXT with Dexter and Theory and enjoyed it, I wonder if he’ll show his personality over time. Hopefully sooner rather than later
