I agree with pops. As long as attraction is there the thought of finding someone "perfect" means life long disappointment and convincing the world being single is good. Find someone that's attractive, morals and dreams. Help each other achieve them and keep it moving.
I understand this side, but you're finding a mate that's similar to you. Like I said, I don't wanna be the guy that has buyer's remorse and spend his life miserable.

As long as two people are in a healthy functional, relationship with each other, i don't see that as "settling", unlike my first example above.

I think some men are more likely to smash anyone (commitment or not) as long as sex is guaranteed. And some women will couple up with (almost) anyone to avoid silly stigmas attached to being single.
