As long as rose stays on the floor for at least 70 games and ups the ante in the playoffs gives us some 30 pt gamed in the offs and be a closer, I'm all good. Wanting that old rose back went away quick when I realized that kind of offense where rose is everything in it does not win, especially in the playoffs. It's cool for personal accolades and maybe even another mvp trophy but I'd rather have a 20 and 8 rose on 50% shooting us winning and him just having great games vs the other top pgs then him killing himself every night like it was before.

   I found this interesting how he understands what he needs to do and how he wants to go back to his old self.

Obviously he has never been a high percentage 3pt shooter but he can certainly go on hot streaks and hit 3/4 in a row. Imagine how demoralizing it will be for defenses when Rose is able to string a few 3's together

no one wants that. especially when we have numerous other options who all hit 3 pointers at a high rate including:

jimmy
snell
mcbuckets
brooks
mirotic
moore
gasol

that'd I'd rather see shooting 3 pointers before rose attempts one.

Unfortunately what you think ain't meshing with reality. I'm like the poster above you if he dude can give us AS D Rose that should be good enough at least if we keep playng this good on O all season.

Nah fam you talking that sillywang. Put this in rec ball terms lol. Do you want the dude you know only good for maybe 2/3 outta 10 3's chucking them on your team even if he open? Hell nah cause you know that dude ain't making it. That's how I feel about Rose he takes em but they ain't going in at any real clip. He the dude you tell cats to just put a hand up but not really play D on that shot its so off.

rose has appeared to abandoned the 3, and has really only shot them when the shot clock was running down, and hell even if its under 5 he has still tried to get a closer shot.

i think he will have games where he will get hot from 3, but i like his attitude now. especially since he on the floor with niko, jimmy snell and pau, they open up the floor for him and allow him to attack. let the shooters shoot, and the slashers slash. of course if he open he should take it but even in that situation if he kicked it out to niko, snell, dunleavy, moore etc that imo is the right basketball play.

to be fair to Hoiberg, he never directly said Jo said we would come off the bench, it was just easy to interpret that way

Jo looks like he has his legs this season, his defense will be needed

well im on the record to be ready to move pau and noah

not even because i dont like them, but because we in a situation where the cap is going up, and we not even sure we will keep both these guys past this season. im ready to turn it over to the youth movement. portis is ready to step in. im good with the core of niko portis and taj and signing another guy in the off season.

once we get in 20-30 games i would check out which teams bubble been busted and see what we can turn noah and pau into, kirk too.

of course these dudes not doing anything, we likely just let them walk for nothing then turn the ranks over.
