Bulls playing so good collectively. Its like when you and your siblings stop fighting and get something done.

I forgot to mention how Fred lowkey flexed on Hollins. When Rose was inserted back into the lineup in the 4th, the Nets picked him up full court to try to get the ball out of his hands, so they wouldn't get carved up.
Fred was like "oh, you don't know? I have another revolver that kills. Jimmy, you know what to do ." That's when he ran the offense through Jimmy and let him initiate everything....

It's a marathon, not a sprint, and we're just getting warmed up, but Fred decision making has been A1 in these two games. I don't think he was lying when he said he used to watch the Bulls while at Iowa State. Between Hinrich not even seeing the floor for 5 minutes total in two games, to attempting to get Pau out of harms way last night after repeated abuse, to going 8 deep in the rotation and not extending the minutes of the starters, he seems to have a pretty good idea of the "do's" & "dont's" of this team.

I told ya'll in the off-season(see below), a key to DRose succeeding would be Hoiberg connecting with him as a human being and bringing the love for the game back outta him

Ive read ALOT about Hoiberg, and I think he can connect with DRose and bring the best out of him. Free flowing offense, find that love of the game again. Hes been through so much bullshyt, I just want dude to love playing ball again. I think that got lost on him at some point.

Hoiberh was lauded heavy for his ability to connect with players on a level beyond basketball. We need that more than ever with a dude like DRose right now

Only thing I was mad about last night was crazy eye's didn't get any tick. Otherwise, we looked good. It should've been a blowout

I know Derrick will boom and show us and the doubters what he had worked on this past off-season, but what he is doing with the mask and double vision currently is good for now. He can now focus on getting Jimmy, Mirotic, and Pau there looks while he picks his spots when they are available. I knew watching Miro in that first preseason game last year that he was going to be big for us. He really has the tools to help make this team a nightmare once he is completely comfortable with the pace of the NBA. I want Jimmy to assert himself and play like a Kahwi who cannot only give it to you defensively but offensively as well. When need Jimmy to defend and score on Lebron well because that will demoralize Lebron. We have proof of that in the last two finals series with Kahwi and Igoudala doing that against James and receiving FMVP. Hoiberg is doing a great job so far experimenting and connecting with this team. If we stay healthy this year we will contend for the East because I see the vast potential in this team playing so far in this system watching these two games.
