I loved how snell rell played last night. He helped jimmy a lot on defense even taking bron on some plays, he was aggressive on offense and knocked some big shots down. Lord knows we not trading for no one, snell needs to step up and take that 3 spot. Dunleavy is great at spacing the floor but we will lose defensively with a older guy coming off back surgery. Snell is young and it would be great if he can step up and be the 3 and d guy we been needing.

And if the bench is moore, doug, dunleavy taj and noah that would be great. Brooks might need to take a step back if he can't get his act together.

I mean honestly, especially with the way are teams are constructed, is Kevin Love really any better than Niko?

I honestly would take niko right now. Just on the swag in his game alone. Dude took the match up vs love personally, I loved it

I think tonight will be a close game, only because it still looks like we trying to figure out where dudes supposed to be in the offense which likely contributed to the low assist totals for the game. I think it will take about 10 games for us to really get where we supposed to be offensively. And this is still kinda like rose preseason.

But I think jimmy seeing some shots fall in the 4th will wake him up some so I'm expecting a 24 pt effort from him tonight and in think rose will give us 20. I think we win a close one tonight.

I was glad to see this. I didn't like it when :coachthibs: used jimmy exclusively on lebron. I like that they are throwing a multitude of defenders on him last night.

Not to dwell on the past, but I can't believe how many minutes Kirk was getting last year.......

I was nervous when kirk was starting in the preseason. but ET phone home put all that to bed with his play last night. hopefully kirk gets comparable minutes to bairstow this season.

This was a good start to the new coach. The offense didn't look all stale like it did under Thibs and we got some good movement with people that are actual threats to score.. He started the right players and played the right players. Once they get some more games in the system they should get better.

We been getting killed all evening, nobody likes us smh.

But both of them have no idea what they talking about. When screamin A, said "rose looked not so good , jimmy looked great, " I knew there was a agenda in play. And it pisses me off because I don't want to continue this rose vs jimmy nonsense, but the media clearly wants it to keep going, especially when you ignore jimmy looking pitiful for 3 quarters and finally gave us something in the 4th and rose bad shooting % was based on him not getting calls on drives to the basket.

It's clear thibs was beloved by many in the media and they are going to stand with him by crapping on us all season.

The fact that nobody anywhere in the media has pointed out our defense fell to middle of the pack last season tells me people are just talking out they ass and paying no attention to what's really going on. I think this season all we got is us brehs.

Butler and Rose shouldnt be sitting together for extended periods of time.

But Fred is a smart coach, and is experimenting right now.

I get their side of it, he was a great coach, that did great things here but lets be real, he was holding us back in many regards and the players didnt fukk with him

It would have been unfathomable before last season to fire Thibs, but everything changed last season. Defense slipped, players stopped giving him 100%, and it was over

I just when I hear people say we were tough defensively last year. How you think we lost those games to sub .500 teams at home?
Even when I play NBA 2k16, they show stats trying to argue that we were good last year on defense. First Take tends to stick to narratives, so I'm just gonna guess that our feuding backcourt, along with Hoiberg's offensive system, and how our defense left with Thibs will be the main narratives this season on that show.
