I doubt they trade him but if they did, we'd be on a very short list of hoop teams to side with a coach over their best player.

You can play devils advocate and argue that our best ain't a top tier game changing talent, which is true, but Jimmy at his best ain't no slouch either.

The real issue would be that aside from the horrible job garpax has done lately, they still have enough clout in the organization to convince Jerry that Jimmy's the issue and not their hand picked golden boy .. Who they roped a top 5 coach for

Why not?He's the only real asset we have that can net something decent in return.It should be explored no one on this roster is untradeable but Garpax needs to go

These clowns couldn't properly improve on a roster that won best record in the league, a roster that reached the 2nd rd, and then last season's team either, yet we supposed to have faith that these idiots can start from scratch I die every time someone mentions "rebuilding" lol with these clowns?

I wouldn't be against the RIGHT Jimmy trade assuming we can retain Derrick and move forward with him, Doug, Portis and whatever haul we get for Jimmy

Would give us the flexibility to sign free agents ASAP and possibly get younger

Yea, trade jimmy because he has a issue with a coach who can't draw up a proper out of bounds play and sounds like Mr Rogers neighborhood in the locker room

It's a damn shame that our front office is so incompetent that just doing a re tool is a task so insurmountable that they rather elect to just rebuild aka once again not take responsibility for their failures and indirectly place the blame on 1. Insubordination from thibs and now 2. Insubordination from jimmy.

Yea not buying it, these clowns trying to place the blame elsewhere to save themselves. It's already people on realgm saying they got "sources" claiming jimmy been barking at the front office. Before this is said and done they will act as if jimmy divided the locker room or some shyt.

The team is not going anywhere because they fired a quality coach that got results for they soft spoken golf buddy. The team is suffering because of not adding guys like all the elite teams in the league do, they continue to stand pat on mediocrity. What is a rebuild going to do outside of have us terrible for the next 5-8 years? Rose not sitting here for a rebuild and neither is taj. And no free agent coming to join this mess. And unless someone can tell me who coming in the draft that is supposed to turn our franchise to gold, I'm not looking forward to the next 3-5 years of drafting mcdermott and snell types.

You rebuild when your all star mvp tears his acl. They didn't do that, went treadmill for playoff revenue and now continue to suffer from always standing pat and never building on the good they had. I can see make a deal for another all star talent. But for picks and some prospects, with hoiberg still whispering in the locker room and gar forman still getting on planes to sign 35 year Olds to 3 year deals? Naw I'll pass on the rebuild plan.
