I dunno Tre, there are some troubling signs coming from Fred's coaching, regardless of roster
They really need to make the right move here with Hoiberg. Its pretty clear he just isnt on the same page with any of the players

Hard to judge though because he's been a good judge of talent, and on top of that, y'all are coming off one of the best coaches of our time as far as getting the most out of a team. Yes he has flaws, but I'll tell you this much: on a younger team, he'd get a longer leash, but this shouldn't really be a win now team as constructed. Look up and down this roster and tell me who it is you even want around in 2 years.

I can't even guarantee you Niko, Doug or Snell. That means one thing: a lot of turnover is coming your way.

There are things that I don't like about Hoiberg's coaching, but I'm going to be fair and give him this season cause he is a rookie head coach. Now that he pretty much has enough intel on his team, then there will be no excuses for him next season. He was hired into a bad situation where the dudes who hired him did not improve the roster for Hoiberg's benefit which was odd to me. Those mofos GarPax are incompetent arrogant managers who had it out for Thibs.

Doug has had his flashes, but yeah you're right we don't have a championship caliber roster but we're not a bottom of the barrel team either.
Yeah lmao, they asked him about the play which resulted in a Taj midrange and he said he didn't remember that play
They look so lost at end of games because this offense has no structure. Hawks spacing and movement so far ahead of us.

I'm sorry but when u have 1 of the best coaches in the league and cut him for a new coach and sign that 'new' coach for 5 years , you a have to assume that whoever it is your recruiting
a) has the pedigree to fill the previous coaches shoes at least in some capacity /can coach on a competitive level
b) know that his coaching is going to mesh with the team he is adopting in his new position
c) has the coaching prowess to garner the most out of his team no matter what the circumstances or line up
Fred has shown little to none of the above , he doesn't command respect , has looked clueless on numerous play calls with the game on the line / just in general , has been unable to implement his offence , or work a competent scheme on offence or defence with the tools that he has ..
this team against the knicks and orlando just hasn't competed .. his own players and playing group has complained he has to coach harder , his own players have contradicted statements he has made ..it is obvious he comes across as garpaxs puppet and he holds NO authority in the locker room

Reinsdorf is not going to pay two coaches to go away. This is a setback.

I think all of us bulls fans know it's a good combination of both
A coach who seems in over his head on the nba level
A front office who failed to construct a quality roster.
Would like to see them all go and 70% of this roster the medical staff etc can roll out too.
But realistically, gar forman being fired shouldn't be that much out of possibility. He needs to go 1st, even if fred is still here, this , is his mess
As far as the roster, I go rose and jimmy, get coke women and deep dish pizza and beg to land Whiteside or horford. If not, as @Brozay suggested see what's up with cousins.
Then move whoever else to get as many younger more athletic 2 way players we can get to surround rose, jimmy and who ever we have up front. I have no deep effect on for any of these guys they all can go, that includes mcdermott, portis, niko etc. I don't care. If it brings back players more suited to win now, dueces.
I doubt fred gets the axe, but I would hire another assistant to help connect to the players.
