A gesture Rose made after last season supports his claim.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Rose gave Butler a very expensive watch during the offseason as a way of congratulating Butler on his breakout season.

When asked about the gesture, Rose said ”I’m a veteran now. You’re supposed to spoil your teammates. And Jimmy deserved it. I look at Jimmy like a little brother. I wish him nothing but the best. I encourage him every time he’s in the game and want him to have that confidence like he has.”

yeah i knew those stories were all bullshyt cuz towards the end of the regular season Jimmy said in an interview that D.Rose was his biggest supporter in the locker room telling him to be confident and not be scared to shoot, and that it meant so much for him to say that and thats what really helped him stay focused. If anything I could actually see them getting along pretty well given their personalities.

I think there is a workaround involving VPNs and masking your IP Address and all that fun stuff... but I wouldn't know the details cause I'm on that Ballstreams wave anyway
