"There are a lot more (driving) lanes," enthused Rose. "It's so many opportunities to drive or so many opportunities to shoot my mid range even in transition; it's open. I've just got to get used to playing this way. I know that might sound crazy, but playing in a (deliberate) system for three or four years kind of got me out of my rhythm.

"Whenever I see lanes I'm driving," said Rose. "As soon as I step up, I'm hitting whoever is open and just trying to play basketball. I love the way the offense is. Coming down we're not thinking about what we are running. Coming down, start with a pick and roll and then that pick and roll opens up everything else.

"I thought I was just going to come out and facilitate the game," said Rose. "But I saw openings and I got all the way to the basket. So I can take this and put it in the bank. It's very encouraging. It's scary for my confidence right now. The last thing I need is any more confidence.

I'm going to take this and run with it."

He still has a bright future. I'm lucky in my career to be playing with a player where the sky's the limit. Like who knows how good he can be and who knows how good the team can be. It's very exciting not only be playing with this team but with a guy like that."

I'm seeing yall talk about those roku boxes I been kinda seeing what's up with those to get out this hoe ass at&t deal but what can I do if I got a house with 5 tv 's that all need some cable?

Don't think I've seen derrick sound so up beat in a minute

( i think I was 1 of the first to mention last year it didn't seem like some of the players/team didn't seem to be all on same page as thibs ,vand it looked like they had tuned him out )

Looks like a pre season where rozay could focus solely on his game ( minus rehab ) + a new system/hoigball has inspired derrick and has him passionate again ( he def had his moments last year - but there were also moments where he was either playing safe or just didn't seem fully interested )

Derrick having ' fun x bein passionate' about the coach/team he is playing for will be a scarey sight for opposing teams this year

We have a veteran team, this approach will serve them better I believe
