Chicago Bulls player who signed a $95 million contract removed the rearview mirror in his car so that he can't look 'back'

Jimmy Butler made the All-Star team last year after averaging 20 points per game. After a breakout season that saw him make the All-Star team and win Most Improved Player, Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler was rewarded with a five-year, $95 million contract.

And Butler, literally, has no intentions of looking back.

Butler's rise has been a storied one. Butler came from a rough background in which he grew up without his father, was kicked out of his mother's house, played a year in junior college before transferring to Marquette, and didn't get drafted until the 30th pick in 2011. Now, he's a max. contract player in the NBA.

In a profile by Chicago Magazine's Bryan Smith, Butler said he wants to put his past behind him so much that he removed the rearview mirror from his car so that he can't look back.

Moving Pau doesnt make much sense, we have him on insane value. Moving Noah is going to be extremely difficuly

Then you need to move a couple of youngsters.

See I'm not accepting we stuck and can't do anything, it's always a deal to make, and if gar pax can't get it done, then fire them and find someone who can. I've see worst contracts and worst players than noah moved. But the bottom line is, we can't have it both ways. Unless we are saying be happy with the hell. But I think we all can admit this roster is flawed, and it is early, but signs are there to show just adding another coach is not going to change that.

So my solution, is either move the vets, noah, pau, kirk, dunleavy when he gets back, for role players to surround rose jimmy etc with for years to come, or move the youngsters, niko, mcdermott, snell, maybe portis and get more vets and go for it all for the next couple of years, either way standing pat is the worst outcome.

Trading Noah would work for me I wouldn't care

I know we all talk about Noah ineffectiveness and lack of production but If he was traded I'll be legit sad.I'd hate to see Noah go.that season in 2013 and the nets game 7.I want Noah to be here when we win a championship.he just needs to put his ego aside and sacrifice for the betterment of the team.
Plus he'd be better in spurts anyway for his maximum energy and hustle which is really the only the he can contribute at this point.

Humphries is 6-20 on the preseason which is decent, but once the season gets going you can't rely on the shooting of a dude that has taken 26 threes in his entire career. Passing on Portis for the Wiz was retarded, not trying to get in on trading for Vonleh was stupid as well, and Oubre plays the 2/3 which they already had

I realize Pau will start, and regardless of how much you think Noah has fallen off, our defense will be embarrassingly bad to start games with Niko/Pau

Yea I don't understand the draft by the Wiz. Do they not have faith in Porter? Portis is going to be the steal of the draft. I'm glad because that makes Taj expendable
