All Im saying, there is blame to go around to everyone

Front office never gave us proper depth and never are creative
Injuries have ravaged us
DRose & Noah fell off hard last season (injuries, understandable, but still)
Thibs never showed he could make playoff adjustments or be creative with the offense

It goes on & on

breh I hate it too, but we have one of the best rosters in the league

for all the mishaps by the front office, there has been plenty of good here too

straight up, the DRose injury saga has held us back something serious. Theres nobody to blame for that, its just a straight up reality

Lesser franchises would have found themselves as basement dwellers with all the shyt our former MVP, max player went through

If they don;

I agree with most of what you posted, but I believe Rose and Jimmy stacked up pretty well against Lebron and Kyrie when they were on the court. Thibs made poor adjustments on offense, but when Gasol got hurt and minutes went to Miro, he wet the bed. It also does not help that Noah and Taj have very limited offensive games as big men and we have two wings in Snell and McDermott who were not ready for that playoff atmosphere. Thibs did not really have much to work with offensively beside Rose and Jimmy who had to focus most of energy to defending LBJ. The Front office saw these issues in the post season and stood pat going into this year with the same core at the wings. Jimmy is now paid like a prime-time player, but all his worth will still be only relegated to defending Lebron if they do not get another wing in here.Jimmy cannot get going offensively if they don't make a play for another wing who can help him get a breather on the defensive end.

I feel you, the Pau injury was lowkey really devastating to us. I think we would have beat CLE if he stayed healthy. He killed them game one, and they doubled him hard game 2. I agree with your overall points. Im certainly not giving the FO a pass, but they have done plenty of good shyt too. It goes both ways.

Thats why I love this thread, we all have good/different perspectives on shyt

The point of going solely at the front office

Is the fact they don't catch any flack

The roster especially rose, noah injuries etc have been discussed to nausea in the Chicago media, and this past season thibs has gotten crucified

But where is the backlash towards gar pax? To be honest not landing melo should be equaling jobs being lost. Them standing pat after that embarrassing last season should be getting torched in the media. If the bears stand pat they get killed. If the Cubs don't make moves they get killed, but the bulls they get the golden pass simply based on they 90s success that gar pax had nothing to do with outside of Paxson actually being a player.

As far as rose being mvp, noah regressing, that is all subjective, I can make a case that even with them healthy these past few years we still would have lost to those lebron led teams simply because the roster was always flawed.

Just because these dudes ain't the worst don't mean they are beyond reproach and criticism. If we as fans don't start holding these clowns accountable then mediocre just enough ass rosters is all they will produce. As stated earlier, they have had the assets to acquire players via trade, even if you don't like afflalo it was no excuse to not grab him for pennies when you needed a wing and he was not the only player moving. You stand pat when you done reach the finals or won it all. You def don't stand pat when you lose to a love-less kyrie-injured Jr smith-less for 2 games cavs, hell lebron didn't even play that great lol that is more than thibs, that is a roster problem.

Last year should have been looked at as a transitional year for rose considering his injuries similar to jordan after coming back from baseball

But the point is, rose at mvp level still not a lebron. Just like curry is never going to be lebron, kawhi leonard is never going to be lebron. But the outside shooting, the wing depth, and killing lebron team on the glass is what beats lebron. We flat out don't have that even with a mvp rose and healthy noah. We have entirely too many on the roster who won't contribute at a elite level come playoff time. As of right now all we can bank on is rose jimmy and pau. In contrast cleveland has lebron, love, kyrie, shumpert, Jr smith, tristan, mozgov, varajeo, delladova, james jones, who will all give some kind of key contributions in the playoffs. Noah even healthy taj niko and pau gets bullied on the glass by tristan and mozgov. Then leaving many on cleveland open you pay for that, flip side we can damn near leave most our wings wide open and they will not make you pay. Dunleavy might, but we getting nothing from kirk, brooks, snell, mcdermott, and possibly not niko either. It's all question marks. We don't even have solidified scoring coming from the front court. All of our title hopes hang on jimmy and rose going ham to get us past all that cleveland has. Just not going to happen.

We need a healthy Noah
We need an all star DRose
We need Niko to take another step
We need either Doug or Snell to be starting quality
We need Hoiberg to construct a dynamic offense

If those things happen, I like our chances against anybody

Derrick Rose is almost :camby: to me. I have never had a player who I had the utmost respect/admiration for, piss all them good feelings like how r. Kelly pissed on pre-teens. I'm making a correlation cuz these two Chicago dudes have dissapointed me the most.

Are y'all optimistic about Pau? He showed signs of flabbitude last season despite his rebounding totals tbh
