Add The Wolverine to that list, and it's set. Fox has had more hits than misses (X-3, X-Men Origins, Apocalypse). I think a lot more posters would be calling Disney out on this buyout if the rights to X-Men and FF weren't up for grabs.

I thought the movie was ok. Nothing special. It felt like I was watching The Book of Eli with a handful of mutants. So if you really, really like Logan, The Book of Eli is a masterpiece to you.


I never said I didn't like the movie. I just thought it was overrated.

Y'all calling people Disney stans are ridiculous . I don't give a fukk about Disney as a company or some shyt they did with Star Wars. I want the deal so the mutants get back in Marvels hands, if Marvel wasn't Disney I'd want the same shyt. I want that characters with a studio that's actually gonna make a good movie without fukking it up. Never really gave a fukk about most the Avengers & still don't like em all. But at least I can sit & watch the movies & know the characters are gonna be done right & do they thang.

I'm a X-Men stan & they've fukked up characters & storylines since the beginning. There's a difference between taking freedoms to appeal to the audience & taking a franchise & fukking up shyt because we know you don't give a fukk & it's gonna sell. I don't even wanna see Sinister in one of their X-Men films, especially after how they fukked up Apocalypse. How you make X-Men 1 & forget Wolverine & Sabretooth got beef going on for decades. I fukk with Deadpool, I'm cool with having a Mature division. But I want Marvel in on that shyt.

Anyone defending the Fox mediocrity needs to answer this simple question

- were you completely satisfied walking out after watching?

Cause man there were some serious flaws with this shyt

- no original team
- no different villians
- no uniforms
- no structured timeframe
- infatuation with Wolverine Charles Magneto and Mystique

They didn't even give a shyt to open the door to Sinister, Genosha or Marauders. And that's not even touching FF. One of the reasons MCU is so popular is the variety of characters and different movies. They may not always be great but they took risks. Fox made damn near the same movie for 20 years. First Class had the whole Russian storyline going. Fox had a great opportunity to squeeze in an Easter Egg on Arkady Gregorivich (aka Omega Red).

And could have setup a nice offshoot with him and Wolverine and the Russian soldier program.

Instead nope.....no vision.

I would prefer they just sit on the characters for a few years.. maybe even 5, before bringing them into the MCU (if the deal even goes through at this point).

I'd rather they complete phase 4, then start fresh with phase 5.

2 dope movies that happened to be rated R doesn't make up for 20 years of subpar films.

What should be easily adaptable properties Fox makes into a huge struggle. Over and over.

They got a bunch of folks who think they know the work better or that Mystique or Wolverine need to be shoved down our throats every movie.

And if the rumors are true on the impending debacle of Dark Phoenix the above 2 mentioned were the exception and they're now back to the norm
