Hasn’t pitched in a month and a half. And when he was with the rangers he was very mid to borderline bad

I agree but this team is rolling. If Max can give us 5 or 6 innings with us being up or down 2 runs I'd be fine with that. At least we up 2 - 0 and we don't need him to get back in the series.

I hope we don't do that Leclerc 1 and a 3rd innings again. He give up a run in the 8th I don't know how you put him in for the 9th. I been looking for a report to see who we had warming up or would have gone with in the 9th but haven't found anything.

I think the move was kinda obvious. 4,5,6 hitters could all hurt us so after giving up the solo shot to 4, they walked 5 & 6 to get an easier out with the 7 hold hitter.

Regarding Max - he’s a competitor, Verlander is 40 and pitched a gem game 1 on the short end of the stick. If Max can give us 5/6 like someone else said then I think Dunning/Perez - Chapman, Sborz, Leclerc can finish off the game.

Chapman needs to start back posing after strike 3 fr. I feel like that when he’s at his best when he’s out there being intimidating instead of intimated.

I want game 3 in the worse way. Let’s go Rangers!

Just not a fan of asking a closer to get 4 outs instead of 3. Goes sideways if he don't get the 1st one.

I've already resigned myself to Chapman costing us again. Which is fine. We don't need to go undefeated to win this series or the world series.

It is funny for game 3 we relying on a 40 year old coming back from injury and a inconsistent set up man for a bullpen who blew more saves than anyone in baseball

This team on a magical run right now though so I'd be surprised if we don't get the W.

Hopefully, Max gets the generous, HOF strike zone and calls that Verlander got.
Verlander was good but we got a run or two taken away because the home plate ump was on some ho shyt.
I love how our guys keep grinding despite the BS.
