So I've been hearing that this game is story based and actually good is that true? Also heard it's not the traditional Pokemon where you mostly focus on going to gyms, beating them, then on to the next one and that it is in fact different. Is that true as well?

Yo, this game is jokes. My nephew damn near threw his shyt at the wall during one of those trials.

Game is really fun my only complaint is the encounters. Always run into the same common pokes all the time. I dont got time to sit in the grass for hours looking for something different, especially since it takes a hot second to go from the transition to tall grass to battle to running. Wish the encounter rates for other pokemon were better. Also fishing seems totally useless. Always a magikarp or a Goldeen or whatever jobber pokemon no matter how far im getting into the game. At the third island currently

so i'm assuming you're on the 2nd island, so i would take stufful for the time being and see how you like it since Jangmo-o is on the final island.
