Problem with Tenn, is coaching-wise, it's a big risk. You might get $4 million a year, but why take that with a risk of getting fired after 3 years when you can take $2.5 mil and stay at ur current school for several years.

Recruiting wise, you got a whole group of youngsters who know nothing about the Manning era or Tee Martin or even anything about the early-mid 00's Tenn teams. That tradition means nothing to them. All they really see is what's happening now. :manny:

what do you mean?

I'm referring to recruiting. When ur the hot school or you hve great recent history, recruting is that much easier.

Everyone wants to go to Alabama right now. Same way it used to be with Miami.
