Y’all gotta stop with this Young Thug influence garbage. He is a direct lift from the washed years of Lil Wayne. He may have spawned Baby and Gunna, but that’s about it. This decade which starts in 2010, Thug ain’t influence shyt. All he did was siphon Wayne and try a ton of gimmicks while flopping up until So Much Fun, and even that was forgotten about faster than Nicki’s Megatron single.

Uzi, Carti, Keed, Gotit, Youngboy

and a whole bunch of other young nikkas are directly influenced by thug

Probably moreso than Keef and Future

You dont have young nikkas out here making chains of you if you aint impacting something crazy

Whatever slant on influence you wanna run with those guys are quite low considering their individual success

No dice

No they aren't. Again, just because you have a bunch of sound a likes running around, it isn't the end all/be all of having an influence. Kendrick had artists trying to make albums with a narrative that told a story from song to song. He had T.I. and Game doing it a few weeks after GKMC dropped. His album cover concept was even bitten.

Drake had all these rappers fighting about the "supa dupa flow" or whatever they were labeling it. He had beef with Ludacris over it. There's that whole muted thing 40 was doing on Drake songs before the beat drop that other artists incorporated into their songs. There's that whole OVO camp of producers that became go to producers for nearly everybody.

Cole doesn't really have much influence.
