Why is that?
It creates brine, which creates as big of a problem as any other pollutant. Brine is basically super-salt water. Nothing can grow and kills everything around it.

The reason why mammals can't consume saltwater is because we need normal water to process it. Essentially, brine water creates symptoms of dehydration in other life much like mammals and kills species that otherwise would be fine in a saltwater environment. Scale this to the 40-50 million people in the southwest and you're going to essentially destroy (or severely pollute) the ocean near the southwest United States.

Nah, that’s the sad part. Sound planning from competent leaders and a population who were just a little less dumb and arrogant could have easily prepared us and prevented the hell that’s coming our way.
nikkas didn't want to vote for bernie tho

Breh might have literally been our last chance

This is fukked up

But it's what the people of the south west voted for

White people have the supernatural ability to cause utter chaos and calamity vastly disproportionate to their numbers.

You could have a million people doing everything right and all it takes is 1 or 2 cacs to tear it all apart.

Maybe I'm tripping but ...the government didn't get involved until dead bodies starting turning up on dry land and it went viral....this lake has been evaporating for 25 years but it took actual skeletons being discovered before they are taking action :patrice:

These greedy MFERS would let that lake turn into a creek if nobody checked them idiots
