And these are just black conservatives, compare that to my country UK, we have a few black and racial minority members of parliament,but never has one held a cabinet position and run a key office of state, let alone ran for election as leader of a party to be PM even with the left wing parties we are much much behind the US. I remember george bush's cabinet and advisors there was a number of african americans in senior positions.That is why ,when I hear british liberals on TV, alwayswhite liberals sneer about the US and racism I think you are sitting in a big fukk off glass house,we are a very racist country beneath the surface. , I I think president obama broke the ceiling though,I thought the campaign he ran in 2008 was masterful. Not a fan of his politics, but was very impressed in many other ways.
