everyone knows if the majority, and when I say majority I mean white people favor bi-racial people over black people ever since the days of slavery. they also see them as less intimidating, and many bi-racial people were used by the fbi to infiltrate the black panthers.

so my question is do you think a black man could ever be president, or do you think if Obama was black he would still be president?

either way its a step closer to a black man being president

Ive seen pics of the old school black secret societies that would only let bi-racial dudes in and basically these dudes could almost pass for white.

Studies say people with lighter and whiter features get more love from White America on a sliding scale. Moreover Obama has a white liberal demeanor and parlance, in addition to known white mother, so he gets a pass. I can't count the number of times I've seen Yahoo commentaters say, "but he's half white". The only way a black man can win is if he's a total sellout to white conservative notions or intrinsically connected to white people in some other undeniable way.

White conservatives are OK with dark skin sellouts like Mia Love and Doneen Borell.

But in white people's mind, the darker the person the more black (and therefore less white), and this is typically how it plays out in terms of ancestry too. I don't know any white person that has a problem with a guy like Austin Rivers, Steph Curry, Jason Kidd. I've never seen any controversial articles about that ugly light skin breh who smashed Lebron's mom. Blake Griffin is also a pretty popular avatar for white guys into basketball.

And then whe you look at the hate for guys like Hernandez versus guys like Vick, you see that people don't hate everyone equally.
