I got home and crashed before I could see us pick, The damn celtics are up to something brehs, they not going anywhere..they just reloaded big time.

it worries me that so mant talented guys were available at 27 and none got picked :sadcam:

but I see this had all to do with the salary cap. So they pretty much just held pat going into next season

It's always funny to me how you fools overestimate these rookies coming into the league. I guess it's the college sports fan mentality tha makes you have high expectations for these kids since you been watching them for years. Ya'll see some kid shine over some scrubs in college and ya'll think they're gonna have same/similar immediate impact. :what:

You know there must be a reason why them fukkas arent top 10 picks right. I liek to think that most NBA GM's have a clue as to what they are doing and if you see so many of them pass up on a player than ther MUST be something to it.

We're adding ONE FA, I'm pretty sure

It's why we traded the 1st rounder.

what will happen, Juwann and Curry are gone, Varnado and the FA added.

If Turiaf opts out(unlikely imo), then another vet min FA

Turiaf says he might but i doubt it. I dont see him getting more $ or playtime than what he got from us elsewhere

I wouldnt be mad if we got rid of Joel Anthony as long as he's replaced by the right player but he has some positives to his game but that contract is horrible.

I know many of these ungrateful mofos wanted to throw Haslem away but i hope we keep him. The organization's loyalty to some players can be a bit of a problem sometimes but hey Dondon works hard for us

If Varnado is everything we think he is that may make Joel expendable. That said Joel's pick and roll D is elite.

I'm not crazy about that pick last night but a 2nd round pick isn't putting this team over the top anyway. Pick up Jesus and call it a day, I dont think they're going to bring in any quality bigs

I wanted an athletic swingman that could defend and hit a jumper..

I wanted a young big who can defend and rebound..

I got neither..:to:

I understand the reasoning behind it anybody who's been a Heat fans know what Riley's MO has always been dude doesn't trust young players and hardly anybody that the Heat have drafted outside of DWade have been allowed to develop ... Riley lives in the now plus the salary cap hit of a guranteed contract wasn't worth it.. Hamilton is definitely going to Europe

I still dont believe the "Ray Allen to Miami" rumors but thats just me being skeptical as usual. Dude may be trying to force Boston to give him a decent 2 year deal
