Doubt it, ownership has been obsessed with having a future, make that deal and you have none 5 years from now
It’s a hard decision. I’ve always been of the mindset that you never know what tomorrow holds and that if you have a shot at securing a title you go all out for it.

The team has some crazy hard decisions to make cause realistically they can’t pay everybody. With Wiggins and Poole due new contracts after this year chances are one or both are gone versus having KD locked in for four years. If there was a way to keep Kuminga I’d make the trade if im the Warriors.

It all comes down to if the Warriors management really believes this is a championship roster or not. Poole and Wiggins value will probably never be higher. I’d at least have to explore it.

Cap unless the FO really ain’t got no faith in the young guns to continue the winning after Steph Klay and Dray gone.. No way dubs give up the young assets in Poole, moody, Minga and Weisman but from a money aspect gotta pay Poole sooner or later.. so if that trade was to go down hypothetical then it’s

Steph/Santos
Klay/Rollins/Quionas
Wigs/Baldwin jr
KD/Free agent
Dray/Loon

Honestly that’s the next 3 chips for us but I’d rather keep our young core to be competitive for the foreseeable future
lol @ those backup spots

I’m of the same mind.

I would make the trade too if Kuminga isn’t involved. He is the one you can see star quality.

I'm possibly one of the few that wouldn't have a problem with KD coming back. It would really depend on who goes out, but I don't see why you don't make that trade unless you truly believe that all the young guys you have will pan out (and is that realistic?)...

I'm riding with Bob and the FO again as usual.

You get young assets to get someone like KD.

Older roster with no depth, stuck with signing veterans to minimum deals. Just a really bad idea

At this point would rather watch Poole, Kuminga and Moody continue to grow under guidance of the Big 3. Not giving up on Wiseman yet, yeah his fundamentals was ass but that not surprising from a kid who played 2 games of college ball and didn't get a real summer or off-season before getting thrown into NBA games and 7 footers usually develop slower anyway

Poole shown flashes of being an elite scorer, he can average 25ppg as a primary option with starter minutes, now he gotta get stronger and become a two way player. 2-3 years very real chance Kuminga averaging 20-10 a night while playing elite defense. Wiggins just entering his prime. This team winning 60+ next year if they stay healthy and the rookies make the expected jump

Getting KD basically guarantee a ring next year or two if everyone stay healthy but KD and Steph already been injury prone in their prime, how that gonna look as they age? And getting KD mean gutting the depth so he and Steph gonna have to play a ton of minutes especially postseason

KD was loved in the bay he let the media trick him off his position and he acted like a hoe for no apparant reason. when you act like a hoe its off to e14 to be forgotten which is what it is now
this is true. everyone wanted him to stay

but between the media and the draymond argument on the sidelines, it didnt work out.

At his age, if he leave BKN and goes somewhere else, idk if he'll ever get that beloved reception from the local fans
