Yet a$$hole Meyers still doubled down and did nothing to upgrade the front court.. They owe Steph everything’s. lacob better give him a 50% stake in the warriors organization once he hang up them shoes
Javale?Need a rim protector badly heading in to next season
there's no way that loon and a pick would be good for Time Lord. especially after how good he was this postseason. They talking about Loon+pick for Rob Williams
You do know we was going to take Rob Williams in the draft before Boston cock blocked us
yeahThat's one of them things you should just keep to yourself , cuz it's sad tbh. Complete confirmation of everything the bro @Gil Scott-Heroin been saying all year.
Criminal mismanagement that you got bailed out for
I mean it worked I ain't complaining, just saying it was negligence on managements part regardless of the outcome. They didn't even believe so that says all that needs to be saidyeah
but to be fair, everyone on the team kinda stepped it up in the middle of the playoffs. I've never seen anything like it
Looney's rebounding took a ridiculous leap, and he even became a scorer when need be. Looney outperformed Gobert and Ayton in their roles
wiggins defense was even better than it was in the regular season, and he became a monster on the boards.
steph's shooting slump was pretty much gone for most of the playoffs, and he looked like he did last season in the finals. As good as Steph's Defense was this season, it was even better in the playoffs
draymond had a monster scoring game to close out memphis, and had a vintage game to close out Boston
Poole shot damn near 50/40/90 for an entire postseason run on 70%TS, when his TS in the reg season was ~56% (he scored 1 less ppg but on +14% TS which is BONKERS)
GP2 came back and scored when he was able to. he harrassed Derrick White and Jaylen brown on drives
Otto's shooting came back in the finals and he offset Al Horford's 3rd quarter shooting in G6 of the finals
Even Bjelica defended Tatum well in his limited minutes on the court
it's like everyone took a leap in the middle of the playoffs
yeah

You not wrong but since it worked, if 2/3 of Kuminga, Moody and Wiseman pan out and the team is ridiculous in a couple years, everyone gonna call them geniuses. But that's how it always is, these franchises that win a bunch of titles roll the dice and make questionable moves that work outI mean it worked I ain't complaining, just saying it was negligence on managements part regardless of the outcome. They didn't even believe so that says all that needs to be said
Steph not winning another ship. KD not walking through that door.
perpetual goofballSteph not winning another ship. KD not walking through that door.
It means you have expectations for yourself and aren't really used to playing a role. On a bad team we wouldn't be talking about him like this because he'd have time to go through the regular up and downs of being a young player in the NBA. Because he's on the Warriors everything is under a microscope. Most players in the NBA wouldn't do well in Kerr's offense, expecting an 18 yr old rookie to do it without adequate preparation was insane.Being the #1 consensus player in the country means nothing these days as a lot of those guys ended up flopping in the league. I also wouldn't discount those G-League games considering the fact that Wiseman looked completely overwhelmed even when he was out there on the floor playing. If he couldn't even put in work against cats that won't end up in the NBA, what makes you think he can do it right away when he gets back out there in live games?
Dude is years behind in development and leaving Memphis early hurt him more than it helped.

And we saw drastically different things in his G-League games. He was 17 & 9 with like 2 bpg in 20mpg. I don't see how that's not putting in work when his conditioning wasn't great and his knee still had inflammation.
For comparison Jalen Green was 18/4/3 in 32 mpg during his 15 g-league games.

Tbf, the Warriors players/staff put those expectations on him also.Tell that to Warrior fans who put those expectations on him initially and have been griping since that he hasn't lived up to them until they made this championship run. Even with that performance he still lost out there on the court at times, which is expected still since he hasn't played much basketball in years since high school. He's behind the ball in development and their championship this year actually works in their favor as they don't have to rush in bringing him along.
His inability to set ONE good screen is truly baffling. I just want him to be a big body that can screen at this point….and he CANNOT seem to do it.There is no for comparison here.
This is the same issue you ran into when you foolishly tried to compare Wiseman's box score stats with KG's (as a rookie), and ended up with egg all over your shyt.
The game doesn't exist in the box score; you need to stop running to it to tell you the story. If you had bothered to watch those G-league games, you'd see that he had a significant size and athletic advantage over the competition (98% of which aren't NBA level); rolling to the rim with little to no defensive resistance. They were buckets that a young, raw JaVale McGee would get in his sleep.
He still had issues with catching the ball, making the right read on offense and not identifying when/where to make defensive rotations. All things that are essentially innate, that you develop an understanding for long before you even get into the league.
You really need to stop making excuses for him. He isn't it, and he will never be it.
