Wiggins proving why he can't be counted upon on the road, once again. Steph and Klay needed that third guy to step up and he never did.

Nothing was going to beat the Celtics going unconscious from behind the arc in the 4th quarter of Game 1. Iggy or no Iggy.

He was on running on fumes at the end of the 3rd quarter though. The amount of energy he expended during that quarter to get off the shots he did, killed him. If we're coming to a point where Steph bordering on playing 40 minutes is not enough for them to win, then don't you think there's a problem with the roster, itself?

I actually liked him getting a quick rest, and then coming back to start the 4th. Klay, Poole and Wiggins should step up in those 2-3 minutes without him, otherwise, what's the point of this team even being in the Finals if three of the top four scorers can't survive without Steph?
Huge problem with the roster is we don't have an adequate big next to Draymond.

Golden State desperately needs a guy that can pressure the opponents defensive interior scoring wise and block some shots on defense

You had that in Javale Magee. Draymond press conference he should have used that same focus for the court.

Wiggins had 18pts :what:

This game is on Draymond and Loon getting dominated by Williams and Williams
13 of those 18 points came in the first half, and the majority of them were easy scoring opportunities generated from the Celtics focusing on Steph. I think he had two buckets all game that he created himself. He only scored five points in the second half mirrored by a similar amount of turnovers (he missed a number of open shots too). His effort was there in general, but his inability to get his own reared its ugly head when they needed him most.

This is why I've been pleading all season for the Warriors to trade for that third guy who they can just throw the ball to and he can generate offense (either for himself or the team). Wiggins isn't that.

wiggins did well tbh. We got killed on the boards and had dumb turnovers when the game was in reach. fukking bum ass draymond playing like shyt all game cooked us. Looney was better than draymond and played less than HALF draymond's minutes

They all played their part in this loss. And yes, Wiggins is most definitely to blame. He should be doing more on offense. Anybody can score the type of buckets he gets. He's not creating shyt for himself, and that's the problem. The Celtics simply have more players that can get their own.

miami has much more intense ball pressure. they will play a 3-2 zone with jimmy, bam, and tucker up front. bam is like a bigger version of draymond and even have guards that will really get up into you. the warriors are a good defense team too but its not nearly as intense as miami. you see the celtics getting the shots they want much easier. the warriors defense is more just being in the right spot at all times and they dont have a rim protector. miami tries to bully you.
Yea heat play a hyper aggressive type defense where Celtics feel like this is preseason defense from GS. They can get to their spots and get whatever shot they want. Heat play a defense on a string and rotations are quick and almost ahead of passes.. They trap, blitz, front on post and help on backside, no easy drives you will see bodies.. Its like they dare the ref to call a foul every play they play soo hard.. Pros and cons to everything so its not all good but after 7 games of that Celtics seem to be strolling into the paint with ease with no rim protection from GS.

Wiggins role isnt to do more. He scored 18 and payed solid defense. He played his part. Draymond, on the other hand, didnt do a goddamn thing tonight. Didn't rebound, didn't play defense, didn't facilitate. He blew a huge fart on the court for 35 minutes. Also Poole continues to be bad Wiggins was solid.

They lost the rebounding/turnover battle. Boston had 89 possesions to GSW's 78. They got more chances. I wish Loon played more. He was more productive than draymond bytch ass in half the time

I feel good about this loss because I know it wasn’t entirely on the dubs as foster blatantly got Steph in foul trouble to alter that first quarter flow and like clock work they let them play and we came back.. I don’t agree with Kerr sitting Steph those last few mins when we had the lead but whatever

I’m def confident we got the next game to go back to the bay 2-2 and then win at home for that 3-2 lead.. It’s still dubs in 6
