Watching him kill his own rhythm ..passing up open shots... not a good sign.

On top of that GP2 was awful tonight too.
exactly

he will come off the screen and have an open look but pull the ball out and kill the clock
he will beat his man but then pick up his dribble in the paint and be forced to pass it out
its truly a pain to watch

and he hasnt made a single bucket when it has mattered really other than before halftime i think it was last game

The Miami Heat took this team to 7 games. We better figure this shyt out

miami has much more intense ball pressure. they will play a 3-2 zone with jimmy, bam, and tucker up front. bam is like a bigger version of draymond and even have guards that will really get up into you. the warriors are a good defense team too but its not nearly as intense as miami. you see the celtics getting the shots they want much easier. the warriors defense is more just being in the right spot at all times and they dont have a rim protector. miami tries to bully you.

Steph was gonna need rest at some point, Kerr tried to get him some minutes at the end of the 3rd so he could play the entire 4th. I don't even think the deficit changed, he can't then come back in the game throwing the ball all over the court, those TOs were bad.

As great as Kerr is, one of his flaws is his loyalty to vets and the OG players. We probably win game 1 if Kerr ends the iggy experiment earlier.
Nothing was going to beat the Celtics going unconscious from behind the arc in the 4th quarter of Game 1. Iggy or no Iggy.
Rest to start the fourth don't kill his momentum
He was on running on fumes at the end of the 3rd quarter though. The amount of energy he expended during that quarter to get off the shots he did, killed him. If we're coming to a point where Steph bordering on playing 40 minutes is not enough for them to win, then don't you think there's a problem with the roster, itself?

I actually liked him getting a quick rest, and then coming back to start the 4th. Klay, Poole and Wiggins should step up in those 2-3 minutes without him, otherwise, what's the point of this team even being in the Finals if three of the top four scorers can't survive without Steph?
