salaries dont even match, my guy

and turner was injured for the season
Salaries don’t need too match. a team can receive up to 125% of outgoing salary if they’re over the cap.

now whether or not it’s a good trade is something entirely different

Warriors can't keep treating this dude like he can't shoot, especially Draymond

This defensive strategy the warriors have employed in these playoffs is dumb as fukk. They did the same thing with Ja. They ain’t sharpshooters but they also aren’t draymond. You leave em wide open and in rhythm they’re gonna hit the 3.

Leaving them wide open and then you run the risk of them getting hot and in a rhythm like White knocking down a contested 3 with Steph draped all over him in the 4th. Like I can kinda get it with White but Draymond and them treating Horford like he hasn't been sniping all throughout the playoffs is dumb.

How would that help us tho. He got shut down for the season. He’s injured.

Not to mention, trading wiseman and 2 rookies is a bad trade for Indiana. This trade only works if Indiana is REEEEALLY dumb

I think the point is, they should've gone out there and tried to get help. The front office outsmarted themselves thinking shyt was going to be sweet believing Steph and the system/culture were going to turn this season into a miracle. Obviously, a miracle can still happen, but it's not really putting your squad in the best possible position of winning.

The whole wasted roster spot on Wiseman is inexcusable.

I honestly didn't see too many instances where the Warriors were intentionally leaving the Celtics open. Most of it was poor defensive rotations, help defenders staying in the vicinity to help Looney/Poole, and the Celtics making tough shots. Obviously, they're going to have to treat the Celtics' role players with more respect from behind the arc going forward, but it speaks more the underlying issue with the defensive personnel on this team.

Looney is the only legitimate big in the rotation, and he's food out on the perimeter. Poole, Klay and even Steph at times have their own struggles. Wiggins is good in 1v1 situations, but still struggles with rotations and playing team defense. Iggy is an old man. The success they have on the defensive end is largely down to chemistry (on offense), Dray and the system. It's not a roster with a strong defensive collective hold. Whereas almost the entire Celtics rotation can defend, and have actual versatility on that end.

Hopefully, GP2 can contribute whenever he's ready to go. They need him out there.

sure, i agree. Im just saying that they're not giving up Turner for 2 rookies and a dude that's looking like a bust

i really dont think the issue was rim protection. The lineup to start the lineup shrunk the shyt out the court. If we're gonna trot out a lineup like that, steph needs to be there on the court. i think adjustments can be made that can put us in a position to win. Draymond has to be better. Poole needs to be better. Klay needs to be better. No reason to have Derrick White outshoot klay. It's inexcusable

but getting Turner or Ben simmons isnt gonna help us.
