You referenced a previous game in which Steph was taken out for a quick breather when the Warriors had the lead, and when he came back in the Warriors still had the lead. They still maintained a lead whilst giving Steph a quick rest, yet you seem to think that is a bad thing. You're poking holes in your own agenda. What makes it even worse is, you posted that tweet when Steph played 40 minutes this game as if him not playing enough minutes is the issue. He shouldn't even be playing these sort of minutes in March to begin with. The Warriors should be in a position where he's able to sit out 4th quarters and the other players to the heavy-lifting.

Steph is the only ball-handler and creator in that lineup. None of the others can be trusted with the ball, that's why the Mavs were fine with forcing the ball out of his hands and letting the others make decisions.

The worst thing about that 4th quarter was (particularly down the stretch), nobody knew what the fukk to do when the Mavs were trapping Steph. Wiggins wasn't doing anything to get himself in the frame; Klay's entire concern was when could he jack up another shot; and the others were waiting for the next guy to do something. Nobody really wanted to make the right play.
