False... the state legislature went a long with his tax cuts but did not deliver reductions in spending.nikka this is literally a case study of your economic worldview.

There was a zero percent chance of things going well.
nikka YOU ARE THE ONE THAT SLASHED THEIR FUNDING.
How are people so fukking stupid as to keep voting for these fukktards?
I wish I could laugh in the face of everyone that voted for this jackass.
I really need to point this out to illustrate how bytchass and finnicky white voters are. These muhfukkas really have no idea/understanding about what they want on a political or economic level:
Ok right, let's use that as the base. Let's just assume that the Democratic base of Kansas contains 380k voters. Now watch this:
- In 1990 Joan Finney (D) was elected Governor with 380k votes vs Mike Hayden (R) 333k votes
If you haven't caught on by now, what I'm trying to point out is how trash white voters are in the grand scheme of improving this country.
- In 1994 Bill Graves (R) was elected. He beat Jim Slattery (D) 526k to 333k. So 50k Democrats disappeared in 4 years
- In 1998 Bill Graves (R) won reelection against Tom Sawyer (D) 544k to 168k. So 200k Democrats disappeared.
- In 2002 Kathleen Sebelius (D) was elected against Tim Shallenburger (R) 441k to 376k. Somehow, someway, Dems found 60k voters to supplement their base.
- In 2006 Kathleen Sebelius (D) won reelection against Jim Barnett (R) 491k to 343k. Somehow, someway, Dems found 150k voters to supplement their base.
- In 2010 Sam Brownback (R) was elected over Tom Holland (D) 530k to 270k. Not only did 150k supplemental votes disappear, but 110k voters left the base.
- In 2014 Sam Brownback (R) was elected over Paul Davis (D) 433k to 401k. Those ghost supplement votes showed up again in the tune of 30k.
The ability to vote for Kathleen S. and turnaround and vote for Sam Brownback is an incredibly stupid white person thing to do. This is why it's not surprising that white people who voted for Obama could vote for Trump. They're just of the moment dikkriders. Two steps forward. Two steps back.
There's ALWAYS an excuse for why the tax cuts didn't work this time. They didn't reduce spending (they did), they cut the wrong taxes (sure), the trickle down is coming (right). It's never a thought of "damn, maybe we're just wrong about this shyt."DEAD7 just making things up the same way Brownback did.

Your claim that "they just needed to make spending cuts too" is dittohead Republican 1984-level doublespeak. Spending cuts would do NOTHING to solve most of Kansas's current woes, which are a crap economy and underfunded state services. How would cutting spending improve the economy? You don't improve the economy by taking money out of it and cutting jobs. How would cutting spending fix the underfunded state services, the EXACT thing that Brownback is complaining about here?
You just making things up at this point.
So, if you ask a conservative what's the matter with Kansas, you'll get one of two answers. Some, of course, will say nothing's the matter. More sophisticated Republicans will tell you Brownback simply picked the wrong tax to slash. Don’t expect much soul-searching.
kansas is like 85% white, so a majority of white folks voting for them will result in electoral victories. That don't make no kind of sense, only like 50-55% of White people vote for these fools.
Meanwhile, the tax cuts worked. In 2012, Kansas saw more than 15,000 small businesses open, the most in state history.
The year of 2013 opened with a state unemployment rate of 5.5 percent. By the end of the year, it was down to 4.9 percent. Such improvements were not universal, either. Kansas’ rate was a full point lower than neighboring Missouri’s at the end of 2013. Kansas’ rate now stands at 3.8 percent. The state’s small business climate improved to the point where the Kauffman Foundation gave Kansas a grade of “A” in 2013.
But with all this good news, the Legislature simply couldn’t restrain itself. Former state treasurer and now U.S. Rep. Ron Estes noted in The Wall Street Journal that “between the 2010 and 2018 budget years, during this era of supposedly devastating cuts caused by right-wing tax policy, lawmakers raised expenditures from $5.3 billion to $6.6 billion,” a 24.5 percent increase
