Honestly, if I'm Pettis, I'm not even going to Rice or TO. He needs to call Boldin.
Pettis got route-running for days, he needs toughness and hands. And if there's any person you can go to that has worn the red and gold in recent times for that... well. It's Boldin.
But then again, if I'm Boldin and I'm picking a 49ers receiver to work with, I'm sitting there with Deebo under my wing turning that man into a monster, and using that to get myself some recognition as a WR coach. That said, if he could rehab Pettis, that'd say a lot, too.

He always seemed the type that wasn't necessarily in love with a franchise so much as the game.
Legit lunchpail type guy... I feel like if he got called up and he vibed with whoever, he'd be inclined to help, even if it wasn't a team he had a tie to, honestly. Dunno tho. But yeah, perfect world: Deebo works with Boldin, Pettis literally just shadows Sanders all offseason. There's talent there in Dante, but something ain't right with the man - I bet he's someone whose confidence can get knocked and it will wreck his play. He needs to spend some time with some pros, and put himself in position to get some good catches in during preseason so he can get his head on right going into next year.
