Pettis got route-running for days, he needs toughness and hands. And if there's any person you can go to that has worn the red and gold in recent times for that... well. It's Boldin.
But then again, if I'm Boldin and I'm picking a 49ers receiver to work with, I'm sitting there with Deebo under my wing turning that man into a monster, and using that to get myself some recognition as a WR coach. That said, if he could rehab Pettis, that'd say a lot, too.

we've had trouble containing QBs that can run. I think we can stop the pass but we really need to spy Lamar all game.Damn, this is just... gut punches, over and over. Rodgers must feel like being trapped in a car slowly going over a cliff, but the car is going 2 mph. You can't stop it, so you're just watching it slowly inch toward the end.
