With these articles, I was hoping Nas or someone else would open up on the supposed alternate versions of Take it in Blood. He does hint of additional work on existing songs, like making sequels but really not completing them. I'm sure those recorded verses have been doled out over the years. I just wish they could be identified.

Can somebody list the leftovers from this album? I know Deja Vu is one.

Nas probably has a vault of thousands of songs and incomplete material. I hope they release it somehow. Especially during the IWW to I Am to The Firm era.

I agree. I would love to hear Nas's leftover verses. I don't believe a God MC, like Nas, should ever leave a written rhyme on the pages of their rhyme books. Record everything and try to find a home for it later. If not, they can always be recycled later. Anyway, I'm assuming that some of his unused verses end up on mix tapes and blends. I remember Dirty Harry a bunch of Nas verses I had never heard before and I call my self pretty well studied in Nas music. Perhaps, these were leftover verses. Interesting enough, on that IWW article someone posted earlier, it mentions there being a sequel to Black Girl Lost that they did back during the IWW sessions. Ironically, around the time Life is Good was out, there was an unreleased track that Nas leaked that was Black Girl Lost II. It didn't sound like something Nas would written or spit back in 96 but instead something more recent. Nas is so good, he is just playin' with the game, LOL

I was 19 years old during the summer of 96. All I bumped that summer was Reasonable Doubt and It Was Written. That was probably my favorite summer ever.

Are you from Newark? No Muddy Waters?
