All the guy had to say was “Steve Cohen’s offer showed me he’ll pay any price to assemble a World Series winning team and that won me over” and nobody would’ve had anything to say but “Yeah I get that thought process”

Right, nothing wrong with that statement there.

Oh well, enjoy getting Dom levels of heat now at YS.

Beyond getting Dom Mysterio heat up here, they’re still the 3rd best team in the NL east. They tied with Atlanta despite half the Braves roster missing half the year and 1-2 guys down there missing the entire year. That’s the absolute last division I’d be interested in joining with how Atlanta has ruled over it for roughly 35 years nonstop. Playing here with Boston’s owner being largely apathetic to baseball as a whole, the rays and orioles refusing to ever spend any money, and the jays always tripping over their own feet, that’s almost a guaranteed bye to the divisional series every year.

Yep, will not shock me if the bleacher creatures throw shyt at him after that conference.

Anyways, yeah wanting to play in that division considering that starting pitching looks awful on paper atm

"It's been a Mets town for a long time," Soto said. "I think we just got to bring it to the top. Championships are going to tell you if it's a Yankees or a Mets town at the end of the day."

Soto is box office at the plate. Truly prodigious. Loved every fukkin AB - always an event.

But at this point he's the eternal opps and I can't wait for this special education goon faced dikkhead with his ralph wiggum baserunning and fielding falls on his face.

fukk him, the 30 family members who showed up to the press conference, and his childish acne outbreaks.

No one - except Donnie - is bigger than the program.

I don't care if they traded Cortes for a Coo Coo Cal album. It woulda been worth it. He was Eric Adams-level goofy every time he opened his mouth down the stretch.

Devin Williams is the NL's answer to Clase. Now Pete super violated him in the WC series, but as I pointed out, every closer got hit up. At least we know Weaver as a fall back if things get real is a real good option.

Yankee pen got arms and Matt Blake

Williams
Weaver
Cousins
Hamilton
Effross
Loaisiga
Leiter

and still bring back Tim Hill

Poteet as potentially the long man would be a good role for him.
