why does he have to be instant offense on the bench when in his last real season, he carried a whole offense to the ECF as the starter?

some of the biggest stars in the NBA don't play any type of defense, but yall wanna zero in on the regular-sized guy.

its the truth.

you act like the nuggets are the rockets or somebody.

paul milsap is dope, but lets not act like hes a top 25 player.

even if healthy, their squad still wasn't as nice as Minnesota - who were the 8th seed.

now with this addition, they look like they can win the division. definitely a lock for the playoffs, even tho their 2 big acquisitions are coming in as wounded soldiers.
Minnesota got worse lol

Nobody is comparing the nuggets to the rockets. Breh - how many games separated 3-10 in the west? Health was the primary determining factor in all of those seeds. You want to act like Millsap ain't worth one game that's on you :mjlol:

im talking about last season with the Minnesota comment.

almost every team ahead of Denver had injuries or some sort of dysfunction last season. if they were as good as you say, then they could've made the playoffs despite milsap going down. they finished exactly where I predicted.

now with this deal, if everything goes right with IT3 & porter, then we're looking at a potential 2nd round team...….unless you want to put all your cards on murray/harris being the next great backcourt 5 years from now with a bunch of 8th-10th place finishes.

the NBA has such a losing culture.

i said if they stayed healthy, they'd improve. they were one game out. so uh yeah

and murray/harris being a top 5 backcourt down the road isn't even a stretch. denver's improved their record every year since 2014 - if you're looking for a young team making organic progress, denver's one of the best examples across the league but by all means call them a treadmill :manny:

Thats why i’ll NEVER sideeye a player for getting his and sayig fukk the organization. The media ready to castrate Kawhi Leonard for taking care of his body and trying to get a trade all the while knowing if Kawhi’s quad was REALLY blown out that same franchise owned by a billionaire they are caping for wouldn’t HESITATE to cut his ass.

just about everybody that finished ahead of them, improved tho. plus the lakers.

the nba has a losing culture. its even ingrained in the fans psyche. these young teams rarely ever stay together when they hit their prime, especially in a place like Denver. and that's of course IF they pan out to be as good as you think they will be anyway, which I doubt.

PLAY THE GAME TO WIN.

yeah, IT played through injury and tragedy and he couldve been shutdown for the season. but it was "admirable" for him to play because fans and teams put so much emphasis on labeling players as winners. meanwhile Kawhi did the opposite and he is viewed in a poor light because of this. Kawhi is gonna be fine but look at what all this got IT when he couldve just waited. I guarantee you IT is regretting doing what he did now because even then it was viewed as a big risk...and now that risk has played out horribly against his favor.

So we just gonna disregard Denver's young core that's improved every year, solid coach, and flexible cap situation to argue just to argue. Gotcha. Committed to losing. Should've signed LeBron like LA

Can’t get a free agent. Everyone here is gonna leave as soon as their contract is up. Building thru the draft doesn’t work. Might as well just fold the franchise :manny:

Bron is fukking ruthless, breh :merchant:
Nikka drained the Cavs of assets, loaded them up with untradeable contracts, and dipped as soon as he saw it wasn't gonna work :francis:

And in the process of doing so, made sure to get his friends & Klutch clients paid as much as humanly possible :wow:

What did you think last year and this year's KCP contracts were for?

$20mm last year to KCP to show Bron that the Lakers were serious about doing business. KCP a Klutch client, and Rich Paul fukked up his contract situation in Detroit something serious (advised KCP to turn down the $80mm that Detroit had on the table for him). Lakers stepped in on some "we'll fix that for you Bron, no problem" type shyt. Hell of a quid pro quo.

Another $12mm this year to bring dude close to halfway - again a huge overpay (KCP might have gotten $6 million from any other team in the league).

But really, the Cavs paid for all of this - by taking on Clarkson's bad contract.

And Bron laughed all the way to the bank (and Los Angeles) :wow:

their young core is just AIRD. you act like Denver is harboring embiid/simmons/etc or some chit.:laff:

by the time these guys reach their peak, there will be teams with other young cores that will have formed & blown past the nuggets - i.e. the sixers & Celtics' young cores are younger & already better, plus have a much higher ceiling. get ready to add the lakers & spurs to that list too, and those teams are already ahead of the nuggets.

and shoot, aside from jokic, none of them will prolly still be in Denver 3-5 years from now anyway. and that's not even counting the future super-teams that have yet to be formed. that's a whole nother discussion.

so yea, its time to start throwing some haymakers. Denver aint win a playoff series since 09. you think fans in Denver are banking on a backcourt that will prolly never be all-stars to anchor an elite team in 2025??
