So y’all are telling me the Orlando Magic couldn’t give him more than this and I know he could of started there

heard about this too....believe it or not, Orlando didnt really want him. they really love Augustin. a lot more than IT. so for now they will go with him until they can find someone better.

we are looking at it 2 different ways. Kyrie helped them to even get the top seed and home court. if that doesnt happen, you cant say they wouldve made ECF. so I dont sit here and give Stevens all the credit and shyt on Kyrie. just like if you take IT off that team, they dont win 60 games without his 28ppg being replaced. got exposed in the playoffs but thats besides the point here. the point is to get a team like Denver or whoever in contention for a top 4 seed. thats what I am talking about here.

and to anyone saying the Lakers arent a top 3 team possibly is crazy. they have a load of talent and experience and Lebron. of course they arent better than HOU but them other teams you talkin bout are shaky as hell. we dont know if Portland will be as good, Spurs, OKC, etc....there is no clear number 3, so I would have to give the edge to the team with Bron being the 3rd best. a lot of experts picked Denver to be a 4th seed last year. injuries derailed that, not lack of talent.

Why not just sign with Golden State for the minimum?
They only got 1 MLE slot (Boogie got it)

Other than that I think they're good on backup PGs...got Quinn Cook and Shaun Livingston coming back, and McCaw can play the point if need be.

IT's rise and fall is like something out of Greek mythology...breh might literally be the closest thing to Icarus the league ever seen :mjcry:

The fact that he hasn't said anything about the Boston training staff or filed a lawsuit yet makes me think they probably advised him not to play, but he refused their advice. Probably signed some paperwork indicating he was knowingly going against professional medical advice.

Ainge was probably never made aware of how severe the injury was - that would explain him firing the training staff in the offseason. Most likely, he put IT on the trading block with the assumption that he'd pass a physical - and when he didn't (and the deal with the Cavs almost fell through), I'm guessing he went apeshyt when he found out just how bad the injury was. Called in the training staff, demanded an explanation, and when he wasn't satisfied with it, decided to fire the whole lot.

From IT's perspective, the trade was bad news, but he probably thought hey, I'm about to play with Bron on the biggest stage I could possibly get in a contract year. Lemme come back healthy and show these nikkas just how much I'm worth when we get this chip :win:

Then shyt went left...way left :damn:

Breh was excited as fukk to get on the court and came back way too early. Played like shyt, lost the trust of Lebron, and got sucked into the daily dysfunction of the Cavs. :francis:
Then made the massive mistake of speaking candidly and on the record to the media about just how dysfunctional the Cavs were (no practices, no system, etc.). :francis:

Bron then went into strategic pout mode by playing poorly on purpose to force the Cavs to trade IT and Jae Crowder (Crowder never spoke publicly about his dissatisfaction with the Cavs, but alluded to it after being traded to Utah when he said he liked "playing on a team with an actual system"). :francis:

IT's expiring contract and a 1st round Cavs pick got shipped off to LA for Nance / Clarkson...unbeknownst to the Cavs at the time, they were helping Lebron clear cap space on his future team while also adding to their arsenal of trade assets (with that 1st round pick).

He didn't play exceptionally well in LA...and with LA gunning to bring Lebron on board, there was no way they'd be signing IT. They were happy to have that extra cap space.

And now he's playing in Denver for almost the same money he was making on his rookie fukking contract :merchant::damn::damn:

Shyt really couldn't have gone any worse for the breh. Perfect fukking storm :mjcry:

Sure, he contributed to this disaster with his own actions...but gotdamn, the consequences just seem so far out of proportion with his transgressions. :wow:

Why the fukk does it feel like Denver and Phoenix throughout their franchise history regardless of GM only look to build high potent offensive squads

:dahell:
I assume in Denver they do it cause of the altitude thinking they can run teams out of the gym. Don't know why in Phoenix. Just like in the East I can never really remember Detroit not having a gritty type squad from the 80's Bad Boys to the 2000's era team.

He can be really useful as instant offense off the bench but I'm not paying a premium for that.

why does he have to be instant offense on the bench when in his last real season, he carried a whole offense to the ECF as the starter?

some of the biggest stars in the NBA don't play any type of defense, but yall wanna zero in on the regular-sized guy.

Kinda ESPN empty ass answer is that? :russ:

its the truth.

you act like the nuggets are the rockets or somebody.

you know what also puts them in that territory? staying healthy

paul milsap is dope, but lets not act like hes a top 25 player.

even if healthy, their squad still wasn't as nice as Minnesota - who were the 8th seed.

now with this addition, they look like they can win the division. definitely a lock for the playoffs, even tho their 2 big acquisitions are coming in as wounded soldiers.
