I feel like he's got a similar trajectory to Arnold. Had some big hits and then hit a wall. Stallone I felt fizzled out and then he struck some luck with a couple of late end Rocky's and then the Expendables + Creed. Rock needs to figure out how to get that project to reignite him.

Otherwise he's going to be the most overpaid VOD actor out there.

:russ:

Arnold never really hit a wall and neither has Stallone.

Arnold had 911 happen and his movie got caught up in.
whatever the press was for that. That made no sense still.
Stallone still makes rhe same movies indie Stallone always made. That had ebbs and flows drawing.

For every judge dread or super cop.
Stallone comes back.
Rock should have never let the mcmahon helmsley coup
trick him out of Rock v roman at mania.
That is why Rock is not poppin right now.

could easily turn this around by not doing 9 figure budget movies all the time.

Streets need that rocky and ceGOAT team up

Breh had a guaranteed money making sequel for Rampage, but he chose to bypass that for other bullshyt. Rock is in his Nic Cage era where he's just doing movies for the money. No movie needs a 250mil dollar budget, so that made this film DOA.

I think I've said this before...

Cena is like that for me too

Rock is in need of the same moment Cena had in suicide squad. Where he just casually hacks those villagers to death moment. So everyone remembers both are heels. That just followed the hogun wwe face model. When really Rock is a wwfin house created version of don muraco meets macho man style vile repulsive heel.
When atypically heels are usually garbage in wwf.

Funny thing about Cena is that he had something with Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad. Then they made him a Saturday morning cartoon hero in his sequel show. Suddenly he's another, "my daddy was a bad guy" type villains.

Peacemaker is one of the very few great watch of this era breh.

How you reduced it down to just this is kinda bogus.

If that match would have happened the fans would have shytTED it worse then Goldberg vs. Lesnar Part 1. Cody was the people’s champion (the irony) and Rock stepping in to takes his spot with no questions asked would have REALLY made him look wild in the light. It would have been Daniel Bryan 2.0.

That pivot was needed in more ways than one and it lowkey saved him.

Cause in an alternate universe, if the company would have pushed through with Roman vs. Rock. The fans would have NEVER forgave Rock for that and they would forever look at him sideways.

Rock ain’t popping in Hollywood right now because he thinks his star power is on the same level of other respectable A-list actors like Leo, Cruise, DeNiro, etc. He has rubbed Hollywood executives the wrong way with his ego and how he does business.

And on top of that, “the people” are sick of his same old surface level action movies. He plays the same type of character and all of them has him coming off like a God like figure in the end.

To be honest, Vin Diesel most likely peeped how he was moving while filming “The Fast” movies and called him out on it. Hence why they clashed.

That clip of him saying that “Red One” is on the same level of “Oppenheimer” shows how so far gone his ego has gone.

He better pray “Moana 2” is a hit. Cause if THAT flops I’m more then positive he will be “All in” for Wrestlemania.

I'm talking about it not being nearly as bad as a lot of critics and others said, which I always suspected was because it was a brown man and brown citizens whooping the shyt out cac colonizers. That's not his fault. By DC standrds, it was B-tier with potential. Certainly not perfect, but again, for DC, not bad at all.

It was domestic bollywood and put together like a video game cut scene called a movie. Where it never ends.

The mortal combat ending pushed the envelope. Where st least we saw a fight between the big bad and the hero. Yet dc gon dc in this movie. Then never gave us more about the characters. . The characters who should never be killed.

Again.

The setup by cripple ache was so it would never benefit rock v reigns.

Which again is some bullshyt.
where the son in law uses his errant power. To book bullshyt.
So of course. No one can surpass his gate receipts and buy totals.

Plus you fans of wwe stoopid too. As they tricked y'all out of thee main event. While trying to have this look. Like you pulled one over on aew. When cody ain't gonna lap aew. Yet rock vs reigns wpuld have easily. Allowing them to play you even further.
As it made it also look like the wackes indie wrassler in cody ever. Was better than the entirety of the wwe roster. When that shyt a lie.
All y'all gott played.

Plus nuffin changed to aid quality and validate your dollar.

kane : stick a quarter in ya ass cause you played ya selves.

He going through his "Will Smith" phase now. There was a time after Fresh Prince where he was dropping hit after fukking hit with MIB, Independence Day, Bad Boys, etc and he was seen as a reliable draw for years.

Then there was seven pounds. There are more, but eventually he just wasn't it anymore for being enough to draw audiences. The Rock is a damn near 52 year old man playing the same characters he has since Walking Tall.
