It may be a dumb question but why should Norv Turner be a hot commodity for OC

That's why I made this thread because some posters on here speak of dude like he is Sean Payton status. Like a lot of these dudes think their offense would be amazing if Norv comes in.

It's the nostalgia..some people still have that hangover when he was OC and the Cowboys were so dominant....but that was 20 years ago...that dude has been a disaster since then.

I don't see why he doesn't pull a Ray Rhodes and go back to OC...Ray Rhodes didn't pan out as a coach and fell back to a DC and played his position. If I were a GM or owner...I'd think about that. But running the whole show? No way.

Norv did wonders with the Redskins offense with the likes of Albert Connell, michael westbrook and stephen davis. Redskins was top 3 offense in 99 whenya they went 10-6.

Norv can call an offensive gameplan. Hopefully he comes home to Dallas for reunion.

didnt they have it in 2010? cause i remember analysts making fun of them for not making the playoffs after they had the #1 O and D. Mightve been for a short period of time

Edit: my bad they had the #2 O. Had more total yards than the patriots tho... if he was running the O in SD, he should get a OC job based off that.

Everyone knew that after the year Norv had last year he had to win or he'd be fired. Another factor was that it would have been impossible to find another coach that'd be willing to work with A.J.
