Rewatching this joint now on HBO and it just dawned on me that the creepiest thing in the movie was the title sequence. Fun movie, but clearly lacking the charm of the first iteration.

They totally had the time and opportunity to utilized the Turtle in this film. All they had to do was eliminate all those pointless flashback scenes. The only flahsback they needed was the clubhouse one because that was a central location in the book that Chapter 1 skipped over. fukk Chapter 2!!!!!

Finally saw it & after watching it I had to look up to confirm my suspicions on Ruchie & Eddie.


Now I stayed out this thread to avoid spoilers and I’m glad. I’m sure it’s been discussed, but when

Richie was younger at the arcade kids called him a f*g... nothing much there but it gave more insight on how he & Eddie were closer within the Losers Club. And they still were ‘closer’ as adults. And of course when Eddie is killed Ruchie didn’t want to leave him behind when they were all swimming after Pennywise’s house was destroyed Richie was still crushed & everyone was consoling him.


I read on it, and I was implied that Richie was gay. It wasn’t answered if Eddie knew and/or if he felt the same. I’m thinking he did know and also liked Richie. Cause he married a woman that was just like his mother. When he was around the Loser Club, or Richie he was free & unguarded...

I wanted to give these the benefit of the doubt, but a ton of potential was lost after Fukunaga dropped off the project. shyt, just reading the script he wrote for Chapter 1...miles better than the Muschetti product.

They really had most of the cacs become highly successful (Or marry into it) and the black dude the one stay in the same town.

I don’t think a horror movie needs to be close to 3 hours.

edit: all of them are successes. I thought the dude in the mental institution was the fat kid.

Got about an hour left. Disappointing sequel. It’s not a bad movie, but there’s something about it that I can’t put my finger on. Maybe I just don’t care about it? Another thing is it’s unnecessarily long.

Son, that swerve ending was some bullshyt.

Hader's character was fukkin' annoying. I didn't have a problem with the kid in part 1, but Hader's version had me . He shoulda died.

Movie became boring. What a waste of time.

Watching now
