When you run into an issue that you don't know how to resolve or needs to be sent else where, ask questions to whoever ended up resolving the ticket. It's one of the best ways to learn and build a good relationship with the other teams. Unless you work with jerks then they might just ignore you but it doesn't hurt to try. Outside of that if they aren't training you, ask if they have a knowledge base, wiki or documentation that you can read to get an understanding of the environment.thanks brehs for the support means A LOT man,
Day 4, they aren't really training me its mostly "hey could you help me with this," etc. Mostly doing small service tickets so far, trying to see if there any programs or thing I can do to study at home
Yea I've been asking a couple of the people next my desk for assistance, they do say to always ask which is cool, 2 of the service ticket check up I had to do there was a hand out with instructions, but one was very confusing. When you run into an issue that you don't know how to resolve or needs to be sent else where, ask questions to whoever ended up resolving the ticket. Be sure to take good notes and review them when you have time. And remember that you are never going to know everything so always be willing and open to learning.Yea I've been asking a couple of the people next my desk for assistance, they do say to always ask which is cool, 2 of the service ticket check up I had to do there was a hand out with instructions, but one was very confusing.
