You brehs need to get on that ServiceNow bandwagon for a peaceful life .
Not gonna lie, it's no so much ServiceNow but the setup I got. Remote, making $30 a hour, and no micro managing. The best thing out of all is I don't really have to deal with any end users anymore.
What is it and how you get on?You brehs need to get on that ServiceNow bandwagon for a peaceful life .
My beef is always gonna be with ServiceNow. Working with it doesn't make me feel like a software engineer and I guess I resent that. I spent most of my time writing bad JavaScript and fighting bad performance when I was in it.Not gonna lie, it's no so much ServiceNow but the setup I got. These are the only type of roles I will search for from now on in the future.
A CMDB that lets a company centralize all their data. It can do some good stuff but I my opinion, from a business standpoint, it's foolish. Company spends x years and n millions of dollars to migrate to ServiceNow. But then what happens when that bill starts to look like an international phone number? Scramble to pull that shyt out again and spend even more money. That sticker shock was a bytch for a lot of companies that rushed to cloud. But that's just how I see it .What is it and how you get on?
Oh that is understandable, I'm not really even doing technical IT work right now. I am more on the business side of things. Asset manager/Business analyst. My beef is always gonna be with ServiceNow. Can't be mad at that. Like I said it can do some cool things - we're moving some important inventory systems into it right now. But the problem is going to be that they're trying to port application functionality over and it feels ill advised.Oh that is understandable, I'm not really even doing technical IT work right now. I been hired though for specifically for what you stated though, the company I work at migrated to ServiceNow a couple of years ago and now need help fixing/cleaning shyt up/tracking data. Best gig I had in my entire life .
Government always hiring for IT, with some remote. USAJOBS.govWho is hiring? Job market looks terrible and with things not going well at work, I'm trying to put in more applications.
And are there any issues with working for Canadian companies and working remotely in the US? I'm a dual citizen.
I see a lot of woman on "black twitter" getting into service now. Some of them are working multiple contracts so they can pull in over 6 figs. You brehs need to get on that ServiceNow bandwagon for a peaceful life .
You haven't seen real burnout until you work in cybersecurity.Say brehs I've been in sales my entire career. Over 15 years. Make 6 figures but I am burned out. I'm ready for a career change. Always been interested in IT but never moved to it with the success I've had in sales. Where do I start to make 6 figures or at least close to it? I've researched and cyber security seems to be the move to make. Any feedback is appreciated.
Do they really have remote positions for civilians? A lot of their positions seem to be for veterans. Idk … them applications take hours to complete and weeks if not months for them to get back to youGovernment always hiring for IT, with some remote. USAJOBS.gov
Yes they do have civilian remote. No prior service needed. Their hiring time can be long if they don't specify direct hire. Sometimes they just collect applications. Just set up an account, set up your alerts and you'll get daily emails with positions.Do they really have remote positions for civilians? A lot of their positions seem to be for veterans.
