people not having sympathy for him at this moment isn't as much a reflection of recent beefs or allegiance as perhaps his past. maybe it's just wayne abandoned any sense of responsibility towards his community and the culture and we didn't forget.

LA was the only time they picked local acts and that only makes sense because it's a worldwide entertainment hub with a ton of rap anthems from relevant legacy acts with worldwide fame

If that's the standard then the ONLY other city that's gonna get that kind of local love is New York City whenever they host one,

I was talking more about before the video because social media has been shytting on Wayne before he even said anything.

Also, I think it's always a bigger deal when black acts get snubbed because not many chances for an invite, so I can see why people are reacting this way. However, I don't think it needed to escalate to this where it's about people talking bad about legends and saying stuff about Kendrick because it doesn't need all of that, but it makes sense for Wayne to be disappointed but no need to attack him for his issues.
