I no longer see the new York times as a legitimate news source. They have been hot garbage for the last 10-20 years. You could even argue longer.

How long? Since the 1930s. The owners of the times were more worried about looking "biased" and like a "Jewish paper" than reporting the holocaust. They had journalists on site writing about what they were seeing and trying to warn the world about fascism and to maintain an air of objectivity the times refused to report it.

They've also given some real morons columns and editorial control. They are no longer a respectable paper unless you're a centrist born before 1980 with over 250k income every year. Aka someone who is completely out of touch with the growing majority of people.
