I didn't like the writing for the sexplosion scene in the last episode. It felt trite and way off base.

Last Episode sucked. They really struggle in making things work in 30 min. Episodes are usually good or forgettable. I think if they had an hour they would probably be more consistent from a quality perspective.

I think it's passed being a "black women thing" but just a "women" thing...these are real life circumstances that women of all races go through..it just happens to be a black show..every woman isn't married or in a monogomous relationship, just like there are men who aren't as well...single people like to have sex

Not really a smut. They've had as much sex as Lawrence and is he a smut? Men have this antiquated idea that women just don't enjoy sex, that they have sex for reasons different than men, etc when they're humans just like dudes. A lot of the show's emotional weight stems from the fact that a lot of emotional/relationship problems are rooted in the same insecurities, men and women, that manifest differently in different people.
Chicks like to fukk and have sex drives just like men. If the genders were switched in this show, nikkas would barely bat an eye at a Male Issa's body count

The fukk? Issa wasn't promoted as being in a good place, emotionally or mentally, when that happened. It doesn't glorify it or make it a cool thing, it purposely makes those things as awkward and hilarious as fukk. You're laughing at Issa or pitying her because the show is about how insecurities manifest and affect your life in a variety of ways.
