But why would they announce all these spinoffs before the series is over. Seems pretty counter productive if you want people to care about the finale

yeah, it's fukking stupid because they're trying to build up the finale right now as some possible war with Maggie/Alexandria vs Commonwealth, but knowing about the spin offs, it'll probably end the show on some BS
