Good for AMC to realize they don't need to kill their money franchise because folks who don't watch the show still complain.
NBC just brought back the OG Law and Order because they realized it was stupid to cancel it.
There is no legit reason why ER shouldn't still be on the air.
If Grey's Anatomy is going just got renewed for its 19th season why can't TWD keep pumping out shows.

those other networks have also put up multiple other hits in the interim. would be one thing if it appeared that AMC could develop new shows and properties, but they can't, they're milking 8 spinoffs of TWD and one from BB...like just change the channel name to the TWD Network. The premise of TWD is also thin AF - like how many "survivor settlement conflict, but wait, oh no zombies" stories are there to tell

and the spinoffs do lower #'s than the main. this is like people keeping their money in a dying stock vs reinvesting in something that could yield better results - it's time for them to put more effort into a new property

3 Million viewers for a cable show is a hit to AMC. Who are you or me to tell them anything different.
TWD is a procedural show for AMC just like L&O for NBC.
Because you don't like don't mean there's an audience for it.
The existence of TWD is not killing the production of different shows they may come up. TWD franchise is probably paying for those new productions lol.
