I'd say they're more influenced by Qutbism if anything. Many of AQ leaders said they were influenced by the teachings of Sayiid Qutb and Qutbists/Wahhabists don't get along breh breh. The most prominent modern "wahabbist" scholars such as Ibn Baz or Uthaymeen (Rahimahum Allah) were against AQ and these types of groups. And I don't really think jihadist groups have a good opinion o Al Saud anyway
They are wahhabbist anyway you slice it down. Most of the fighters came out of Saudia Arabia, so it's proven through many journalist pieces that it's Wahhabi all the way.
